Using our proposed stiffness and deformation control strategy, users can customize the shape and stiffness of the midsole. For makers, we provide a new technical approach to personalized shoe creation. The characteristics of GyFoam technology make it particularly suitable for midsole production: good breathability, light weight, and high energy absorption. By adjusting the parameters of the Gyroid structure, we can achieve different levels of stiffness in different areas of the midsole to meet various user needs. For example, we can increase stiffness in the heel area for better support while maintaining softness in the forefoot area for enhanced comfort. Furthermore, our technology allows for customization of midsole shapes according to users' foot types, delivering a truly personalized wearing experience. This approach is suitable not only for sports shoes but also for daily footwear, providing users with a more comfortable and healthier wearing experience.
